ALL ABOARD the MV Mississippi! Bring family and friends to Melvin Price Locks and Dam to view and board the largest towboat in the region. Operated by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, this impressive vessel mainly serves the bank stabilization efforts on the lower Mississippi River. BUT on Saturday, August 7, it will serve YOU! Learn about the vessel itself, its crew members, and the importance of the work it is currently doing for the Mississippi River.
