The National Great Rivers Museum at Melvin Price Lock and Dam are seeking enthusiastic volunteers ranging from 14 years of age and up to assist in a variety of activities.

  • Staff reception desk and keep brochure racks stocked
  • Meet and greet visitors to the museum
  • Give daily and special tours of the Melvin Price Locks and Dam 
  • Gift shop sales and stocking
  • Answer questions about Melvin Price Locks and Dam, National Great Rivers Museum and the area
  • Work special events at the museum and at different locations in the project area
  • Help teach STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math) related topics at the Museum and off site locations with a Ranger
  • Work Indoors or Outdoors
